This action was commenced by Alfred H. Knutter and Jean E. Knutter, his wife, to recover for personal injuries sustained when
he was struck by an automobile driven by respondent Myron F. Bakalarski. Respondent The Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company
is the insurer of Bakalarski. The case was tried to a jury but the trial court found both Knutter and Bakalarski were negligent and, because the jury determined
the negligence of each contributed equally to the cause of the injuries, judgment was entered dismissing the complaint. From
this judgment, Knutter and his wife appeal.
